Building on SmarthBansals answer:
Using the Rolfset Knot Table we can convert the knots into this notation starting with the outside knot, then the top knot working around clockwise, and finishing with the center knot.
8_1, 8_3, 7_1, 7_5, 5_2, 7_3, 7_6, 7_7, 8_5, 8_4
If we label the first 26 knots in the Roflset Knot Table from A-Z, we end up with:
P, R, I, M, E, K, N, O, T, S
Which fits the puzzle
Prime Knots
but doesn't seem to fit the title which has 7 underscores " _ _ _ _ _ _ _ " is possible!
- $\begingroup$ Well done! That's the answer. As for the title, I originally planned to write ""nothing" is possible!" (hinting at knotting), but wanted to make it a bit harder, so chose the underscores instead. $\endgroup$Prim3numbah– Prim3numbah2025-05-21 08:38:32 +00:00Commented May 21 at 8:38
Partial answer to maybe help someone to solve the puzzle.
The knots are different primary knots (from knot theory).
I've identified the different knots in the image. (as far as I could identify).
The big knot is a 8_1.

- 2$\begingroup$ If you ignore the underscores, the numbers are all ASCII letters/numbers. (Clockwise, from top (8_3)): S G K 4 I L M U. (Centre): T. (Big): Q $\endgroup$GentlePurpleRain– GentlePurpleRain2025-05-20 15:20:40 +00:00Commented May 20 at 15:20
- $\begingroup$ Nice job and +1 for finding the knots, but the final answer has been found by user rtaft. $\endgroup$Prim3numbah– Prim3numbah2025-05-21 08:29:57 +00:00Commented May 21 at 8:29
