Checked the commits against the source repos, not that I don't trust you, but this is what we all need to do when we merge PRs like this to ensure the commits come from the source repo and not a fork.

CI is still failing after #6314 because the scorecard workflow also uses the deprecated v3 version of
actions/upload-artifact. I updated all commit shas of the scorecard workflow to their latest versions.
