For questions about drow or dark elves in tabletop RPGs. Dark elves are a race found in many fantasy books, movies, and games; they have their origins in Norse mythology, and are depicted as having a dark complexion. The usage of the name "drow" for a race of dark elves is unique to D&D/Pathfinder. In D&D's Forgotten Realms and Greyhawk settings, most drow live in the Underdark, apart from the surface world.
