I have Debian Forky (Testing). I have upgraded to Gnome 49:

gnome-shell --version GNOME Shell 49.1

The most annoying thing is that my workspaces do not work. If I go to show apps I can see 4 workspaces on the right hand side, as defined in the settings, but I can't use them. I don't see any windows there even thou, I have many opened. I can't switch to any of them.

Does anyone have idea how to make them work again?

  • Does this still happen if you disable all installed gnome-shell extensions? Commented yesterday
  • @grawity If I disable all gnome-shell extensions I don't even see any workspaces. I see only the main screen that I'm on Commented 16 hours ago
