Here lies a hapless 20 something who is unreasonably wistful of early to mid 2000s internet culture.

Though I've had this account for a few years, I've only recently begun making myself at home here-- this includes trying to find other active accounts so my reading page is never lacking-- if I subscribed to you and you're wondering why, I most likely found you from someone else's follow list or comments and saw that you share some of my interests and just overall seem like an interesting human being. I will admit, I tend to lurk-- I'm a bit shy and do not want to bother people! With that said, I do thoroughly enjoy reading other's thoughts and such, so I promise my subscription was not unfounded.

As for my own postings, I've come to prefer using this as a fandom dumping ground of sorts. So far, I have mainly been posting in-depth about my art here, which almost always means My Chemical Romance fanart and sometimes adjacent bands (i.e. fall out boy, the used, etc).

I've been involved in fan-spaces since probably 2010, though I've only been in bandom since 2015. However, nothing has quite stuck like MCR has. I can't imagine anything ever being able to counter my love for MCR, so do not expect to see much outside of that fandom here (never say never, though). On top of this, I am a big fanfiction reader for MCR, so a good bit of my art falls into that, whether it be complementary art for Bandom Big Bang or just for fun. You may also find me posting solely about fics, as I do run a rec blog over on tumblr (@/hollygolightlyclub) and is therefore something I often think in depth about.

I do not have a particular policy on subscribing, so go right ahead. No guarantee I will grant access, though you won't be missing much if I choose not to.

Last but not least, IF by a very unlikely chance you were interested in reposting my art somewhere, I would mostly prefer you didn't. A good majority of the art I have here is on Tumblr and Instagram (@/venomwolves on both), so I'd rather you just share my art directly from me. BUT, if you absolutely must repost my art for whatever reason, please explicitly credit me as venomwolves on Tumblr or Instagram, preferable with a link to either account!
