I always had Ghostery, Ad-block and Privacy Badger installed. Now, after fresh Firefox install on Kubuntu Plasma 6 (about 2 weeks ago) I noticed different behaviour.

  1. One of those ad-blockers is automatically rejecting or accepting cookies

  2. One or more is preventing Youtube from playing next video. YT then gives error "An error occurred. Please try again later. (Playback ID: 8-xTUdHHxtaYhy8esx) Learn more"

I scanned my settings and internet for clues...

  • Would anyone know which setting to change to resolve this? I don't want to whitelist youtube

Youtube is probably forwarding you to the next video via an ad, which is then blocked, resulting in the behaviour your are seeing. Commented Jun 29 at 11:11

Disable them one by one and see which one is causing the problem. Commented Jun 29 at 11:31

I don't see this issue using UBlock Origin extension in Firefox Commented Jun 30 at 11:05
  • I removed uBock and removed PrivacyBadger and will test it. Commented Jun 30 at 17:37
