I am trying to get two domains I own to validate in google postmaster. I have added the required TXT record to my DNS zone and waited over 72 hours. I have verified that there are no typos in the TXT record. DNSchecker.org verified that the record has propogated world-wide. I use siteground for DNS and I have another domain hosted there which postmaster has validated. I followed the same pattern when adding the TXT record for these other two domains; I do not understand why one works and the other does not. I chatted with Siteground Tech support and they verified that the record looks correct. Any advice on how to rectify this problem?

    Well, I just tried Google Postmaster and added a new domain in about 5 minutes. I did see that the TXT record entry was split over 2 lines, and you need to select the whole thing when copying it. Apart from that, there's not much information in your question that could hint at a possible cause. Commented Oct 4 at 19:00
