Instructions for Nominations by Petition for candidates for Vice President, Member at Large of the Council, Nominating Committee Members, and Editorial Boards Committee Members are available in the September 2025 issue of the Notices of the AMS Deadline: February 24, 2026.
The voting process starts in mid-August and ends at the end of September. The election process is carried out by Survey &Ballot Systems, a company that specializes in conducting elections for professional organizations. AMS members can only vote online. Information about the election and the candidates is also published each year in the September issue of the Notices of the AMS.

If your current email address is on file with the AMS as of August 1, visit the voting website and click "Need help logging in?" If your email is not on file, contact Survey & Ballot Systems at 952-974-2339 or email.
When will the election results be announced?
Results will be announced in October on the AMS website.
