Summarizing Quantitative Data in Data Science

The average (also known as mean), mode, and median are the three most popular methods to look at the centre. All three describe the typical value of a variable (average), the most commonly repeated number (mode), or the number in the middle of all the other numbers in a data set to summarise a data distribution (median).
