- Jay Virdee reposted thisJay Virdee reposted thisCome join the Redis team in Seattle next Wednesday, April 8th at 5:30pm in Bellevue to learn about building and deploying high-performance, production ready agentic applications. We'll have a session with some demos followed by a reception, and space is getting pretty limited. Hope to catch you there. Sign up: https://lnkd.in/gEMmjtbE
- Jay Virdee reposted thisJay Virdee reposted thisWe’re building the context engine for AI apps and agents, from semantic caching to agent memory, vector search, and more. That’s why Fast Company named us to its Most Innovative Companies of 2026 list, saying “Redis created new storage technology to make interactions with AI tools, and the databases that power them, faster and more efficient.” And we’re not slowing down. We’re pushing semantic caching, agent memory, feature engineering, and vector/hybrid search forward so agents can work from the right context—not just burn tokens. For us, innovation means giving developers the infrastructure they need to make AI and agentic systems fast, reliable, and production-ready. We’re already leading the way.

- Jay Virdee reposted thisJay Virdee reposted this“Attention is all you need” had a good run. Today, if you’re building agents, context is all you need. Michael Vizard at Techstrong TV sat down with our own Simba Khadder to unpack what’s changing as agents move from “30-second chatbot” to “multi-hour worker.” And why the winners won’t just have better models, they’ll have context engines that help those agents find, gather, and use the data they need. Here's the key takeaways: ▶️ When agents run longer, the bottleneck shifts from intelligence to context—getting the right data, fast, from anywhere, in any format. ▶️ A context engine is about building a context surface agents can navigate (more like a human, less like SQL), then keeping it stateful and up to date as data changes and the agent learns. ▶️ “Text-to-SQL everywhere” is a little too spicy for most enterprises. Building a safe context view beats giving a non-deterministic agent the keys to your systems of record. If you’re building agents for real workloads (messy data, shifting systems, zero patience for latency), this one’s worth the time. - Jay Virdee shared thisMost enterprises have data. Very few can act on it in the moment that matters. That gap is why Next Best Action is becoming a board-level capability, not just an AI feature. It enables systems to sense, decide, and act in real time—while context is still fresh and outcomes can still be influenced. Join to learn more!Jay Virdee shared thisEvery enterprise has data. Few can act on it in real time. If you’re architecting decisioning systems your apps will depend on this year, here’s the hard truth: most AI decisions still happen after the fact, not in the moment they matter. Join us on February 19 as Charles Henderson, founder and CEO of Stacker Group, and Jason Marra, area sales director at Redis, breaks down how the Real-Time Decisioning Stack, created using Redis, combines millisecond-speed execution, continuous data integration, and live decision context to move beyond batch-based decisioning. You’ll see how closed-loop systems that sense, decide, act, and learn make it possible to deliver fast, in-app AI decisions, with fewer trade-offs.
- Jay Virdee reposted thisBig milestone! 🙌 RedisJay Virdee reposted thisWe just crossed $300M in ARR. It's a big moment for us that comes as we're seeing high demand for infrastructure for AI and agentic systems. From agent memory, to RAG apps, to real-time AI infrastructure, teams are building systems that need fast context, not just more compute. The signals are clear: 🥇 Redis is the top choice for agent memory storage (42%) in the 2025 Stack Overflow Developer Survey. 📈 We saw nearly 1M downloads of Redis Vector Library in December alone. That's a 300% increase from three months prior, and 1,000% increase year over year. ❤️ 12,000 paying customers, including a third of the Fortune 100. As agentic AI moves toward instant decision-making, developers are using Redis as a real-time context engine between the data and app layer helping agents work. - Jay Virdee reposted thisJay Virdee reposted thisContext is all you need. Learn more about it in Redis Webinar this Wednesday! LLM intelligence isn't our bottleneck anymore, we're limited by context. RAG was only the first step, to get the full power of our agents we need to find a way to get them the data that's currently sitting in behind APIs, databases, and docs. Without brittle tools and glued-together pipelines. We need context engines that make context navigable and retrievable, and take full advantage of LLM reasoning. They need to be synced real-time with your data, and get smarter as users interact with them. This is what'll separate truly great agents from the rest. This is a hard deployment stop — not a soft deprecation. ⚠️ What breaks after April 1, 2026 If you are still running Azure Cache for Redis Enterprise: ❌ No new Enterprise / Enterprise Flash deployments ❌ Disaster Recovery will no longer work You cannot deploy a replacement cluster in a secondary region You cannot rebuild after a regional outage ❌ No environment recreation Accidental deletion, corruption, or loss = no recovery ⚠️ Production systems are left without a safety net Yes, existing caches may continue running until March 31, 2027 — 👉 but operational risk starts April 1, 2026. March 31, 2027 ⏳ Last day existing Enterprise caches run April 1, 2027 ❌ Enterprise / Enterprise Flash caches are disabled ✅ The solution: Azure Managed Redis (AMR) Azure Managed Redis (AMR) is the recommended and future-proof path forward: ✔️ Fully supported Azure-native Redis service ✔️ Built-in high availability and zone redundancy ✔️ Modern DR and multi-region architectures that actually work ✔️ Continued innovation and feature development ✔️ No retirement risk AMR is designed to replace Azure Cache for Redis Enterprise without the operational dead-ends introduced by the retirement. 👉 Migration to Azure Managed Redis should be completed BEFORE March 31, 2027 is not a safe migration date — it is the shutdown date. 🚀 What customers should be doing now Start or accelerate migration to Azure Managed Redis Validate multi-region and DR on AMR Test failover, rebuild, and recovery paths before the deployment block date If Redis underpins your mission-critical, low-latency, or high-availability workloads, this deadline matters. 77 days sounds like a lot — until recovery is no longer possible. #Azure #Redis #AzureManagedRedis #AMR #DisasterRecovery #EnterpriseIT #Deprecation #Warning

- Jay Virdee liked thisJay Virdee liked thisBright sunny spring morning, a bold cuppa coffee in hand, and I’m very excited to share this interview we shot recently with Ankur Kapoor, expertly interviewed by Stephen Saunders MBE, who cuts past the usual telecom talking points to get to what actually matters. Because this isn’t about faster speeds. It’s about a shift from performance to intelligence. As Ankur puts it, embedding #AI into the core of the network isn’t a feature, it’s a foundation. Live translation is just one-use case. The real story is a network that’s inherently adaptive: device-agnostic, globally functional, and built for real-world experience, not ideal conditions. That’s a sharp departure from an industry long obsessed with speed. And it’s only possible because of earlier bets that now look decisive: 5G standalone, mid-band depth, and a cloud-native architecture. Together, they form something bigger, a platform. Stephen Saunders MBE surfaces another critical layer, complexity. Multiple vendors, fragmented orchestration, hyperscaler silos. The response is a vendor-agnostic, end-to-end orchestrator spanning core, radio, and device. It is not elegance for its own sake. It is a requirement for making intelligence work at scale. We are no longer simply upgrading networks. We are redefining what a network is. I like what we say and how we say and do things because honestly, its better over here! https://lnkd.in/gwYH9GNiHow T-Mobile is Shifting from Speed to Network ExperienceHow T-Mobile is Shifting from Speed to Network Experience

In our IT Infrastructure & Core Services Quarterly Townhall, we aligned on our strategy, vision, and 2026 moonshots — grounded in our broader ambition to evolve into a data-informed, AI-enabled, digital-first company. This is about continuing to elevate how we deliver for our customers — from how we build and operate our network, to how we enable simpler, faster, and more reliable experiences. We focused on a few key priorities: • Scaling AI responsibly to enhance productivity and customer outcomes • Strengthening our data foundation to drive better, faster decisions • Embedding quality and resilience across every layer of delivery • Simplifying infrastructure and workflows to reduce friction and accelerate speed • Operating as one integrated engineering ecosystem Most importantly, this is not a shift in direction — it’s an acceleration of what’s already working, with clearer focus and sharper execution. Proud of the team, the energy, and the clarity on where we’re headed next. #TMobile #Uncarrier #AI #DigitalTransformation #Engineering #Leadership

Enablement managers using Bigtincan (or planning on it), make sure you're taking advantage of the platform to: 1. Stay on top of content governance at all times 2. Create personalized training content in minutes 3. Set up AI-powered roleplay scenarios for sellers 4. Build comprehensive learning paths that combine multiple training methods 5. Use Genie Assistant for everyday enablement tasks Our own Revenue Enablement Manager, Kelly Mullins, summarizes the impact perfectly: “I’m definitely saving 75% of the time because it might take a week to figure out your content, get it where you want it, and then a week to record that video and get feedback. But Bigtincan cut out so much of that work that I was able to quickly get content together, send it out for review, get feedback, and get it out and running within a couple days.”
