Description

Emile Soft ROMIO is a special package that allows to

• program EPROMs while almost all pins can be controlled by the 8255 Programmable Peripheral Interface (PPI) chip
• use the provided cartridge as a general-purpose I/O port

It supports EPROMs of the following types:

• 2764 - 8kB
• 27128 - 16kB
• 27256 - 32kB

The package includes

• a cartridge with Zero Insertion Force (ZIF) socket
• a tape with software

This package requires a MSX with at least 32kB RAM.
