Yeesh, where does the time go?

My beloved odogoddess reminded me that I'd wanted to be better about posting this year, so here's a quick update.





News: We just got back from a much-too-quick turnaround visit to my mom. It was fun and relaxing and lovely, with good company, good food, wild turkeys and deer and kitties and Neo-the-purr-machine trying to sleep on my head. :-)

Health: Mine is my usual "healthy as a reasonably-healthy horse." Allergies are an intermittent nuisance, but would be better if I'd remember to take my claritin regularly. odogoddess tries to keep me virtuous in that regard, but it's a tough battle.

Home: We're hanging in there. I fixed the leak in the pipe feeding the hot water heater! Yay! Also made some small inroads on the jungle in our front yard. More yard work will have to wait until the ground dries a bit. With more rain in the forecast, that's not going to be soon. The soil is adobe clay and right now it's just about plastering consistency.

Work: Busy, busy, busy. Good-busy, but still, busy! I'm at work now, trying to get caught up from my two-whole-days-and-a-weekend-off, and it's nearly 11pm. Bleah. On the bright side, the trip to DC I was supposed to have to make next week has been postponed. Considering the Snowpocalypse, I think that's a very good idea.

Fandom: Oh, man - I still owe sooooo much feedback, it's not even funny. :-(

The amazing, wonderful and ultra-talented karasu_hime did the most gorgeous NSFW art for snupin_santa: All day, every day, for the rest of our lives - NOT SAFE FOR WORK! Please go look at it and marvel. Karasu did such lovely work on this. I'd asked for a triptych of Snape and Lupin at three different stages of their lives, and what she came up with is more beautiful than anything I had imagined. Erotic and tender and oh, so lovely!

I signed up for hp_beholder and busily planning my entry. I'd really like to get into a writing groove and finish one early for a change! *rg*
