Problem
When I visit softwareengineering.stackexchange.com/revisions/455243, I see that the answer has been deleted. However, the deletion notice doesn't contain rationale. In its stead, it merely states that a moderator deleted this. Should I attempt to cast an undeletion vote, I am informed that because a moderator has deleted the post, it cannot be undeleted.
Diagnosis
I have skimmed the relevant documentation on this at SE Meta, but it does not appear to contain anything about this situation:
- It gained upvotes with the timeframe that the Community bot considers acceptable.
- It had answers.
Consequently, I pitted the message to Google, and it located meta.stackoverflow.com/questions/335807 for me, which does discuss this topic. However, I didn't link to any URIs directly hosting executables, so it's inapplicable.
Question
Consequently, how am I to at least understand why my question was deleted?
