Two civilian commercial vessels under the flags of Palau and Barbados were damaged, and two people were injured in the Odesa region as a result of a Russian attack early on Friday, March 20.
“As a result of the attack on the Odesa region with strike drones, two civilian commercial vessels under the flags of Palau and Barbados were damaged. Two people were injured and received medical assistance,” Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction Oleksiy Kuleba wrote on Telegram.

According to him, at the time of the attack, the vessels were near the berths and were loaded with grain. Despite the strike, both vessels remain afloat.
“Administrative buildings were also damaged. A fire broke out on the territory, but it was quickly localized by rescuers. Work to eliminate the consequences is ongoing,” he added.
Early Friday morning, Russian forces also struck the Zaporizhzhia region, killing one person and injuring two others.
The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration (OVA), Ivan Fedorov, said the attack targeted civilian infrastructure, with private houses destroyed in two separate strikes.
“A 30-year-old woman was killed, and a 48-year-old man and a 10-year-old boy were injured,” he wrote.
In Kharkiv, Russian forces struck the Shevchenkivskyi district with a drone, according to Mayor Ihor Terekhov. The drone hit near an educational institution, shattering windows in the building.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, from 6 p.m. on March 19, Russia launched 156 attack UAVs, including Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types, about 90 of them Shahed drones.
The attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
As of 08:00, Ukrainian air defenses had shot down or suppressed 133 Russian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
However, 19 drones struck 13 locations, and debris from downed UAVs was recorded at seven additional sites.
