When you transform or extrude something Blender playing fool with me and forgets which plane or axis of movement I've used before.

In 3ds Max, or Maya you transformation constraints are retained between actions.

$\begingroup$ You mean constraining the transformation to a certain axis or plane? Blender is not "playing fool" with you, it simply does not keep this information. Because it is not 3DS Max or Maya. You mean like press G to move the object and then for example Shift+Z to only move in the XY plane? And next time you only have to press G and still it only moves in the XY plane? No, Blender does not do that. Or if that's not what you mean, please add more details for clarification. $\endgroup$ Commented Aug 27 at 6:08

  • $\begingroup$ if you do a Shift R though, il will redo the exact same operation with the new selected vertices $\endgroup$ Commented Sep 6 at 11:40
