Roslyn asked me to make a post about how my eyes are progressing. Short form -- no problems, visual disconnect improving but still not 100%.

Just a quick update before we head out for a day of shopping and sightseeing. Operation went well, and I can SEE! Still a little residual discomfort -- like when your eyes feel gritty cause you're really, really, really tired. And I'm having a wee bit of trouble with close vision; the brain hasn't completely adjusted yet. But I could stand across the width of the bathroom sink and see to fix my hair without glasses, which hasn't been possible for over 40 years. Wheeeeeeee!

More when I get in and have time -- probably tomorrow night.
